On Monday, November 25, YNOP’s Thanksgiving Week Outreach will be on the air, and we’ll be asking you to join us and our friends at Provision International in completing one of the most consequential projects we’ve ever been part of...the Gang Rehabilitation and Transition Center in Santa Ana, El Salvador!
But, there is hope! For more than 10 years a ministry led by Kenton Moody has been working in El Salvador and has started prevention programs, social works, built homes for the needy, and the Open Door Church, where every one is welcome. In the past two years, they have been reaching into the youth prison system, winning the confidence and faith of many of the young men who are incarcerated there.
In 2019 they started the Living Free program, designed to break chains of vices in their lives, and they began construction of the first and only rehabilitation/transition center specifically for gang members in the entire country!
The Moodys believe that God is the one who can change these youth and that the church should be the catalyst for this change, loving, rescuing, and transforming lives.
The transition center is needed now. The financial need is approximately $75,000 to finish the construction, outfit the facility with beds, lockers, bathrooms, kitchen, and office equipment, doors and windows.
Will you pray about helping to raise the remaining need during YNOP’s Thanksgiving Outreach?
