Day of Hope - September 21st

After the events of the past six months, all of us could use some hope, so be sure to join us for a very special Day of Hope as we begin Sharathon 2020 on YNOP!

We’ll be featuring special music, times of prayer and scripture, and several interviews with people from all over America! It’s going to be a very special time of encouragement so be sure to be tuned in!

Join us at 7:00am as YNOP General Manager Roger Lonnquist talks with Dr. Deus Kanunu, founder & manager of Radio Uhai in Tabora, Tanzania! Since June, YNOP has been providing support to Radio Uhai, a station which potentially reaches up to 1.5 million people in the Tabora Region.

Join us at 8:00am as Carlene talks with Jeremy & Adie Camp!
Our theme this year at YNOP has been "I Still Believe!", which was inspired by the movie slated to come out this past Spring about music artist Jeremy Camp's personal story of how he learned to trust God through both the love and the loss of his first wife, Melissa, when she died from cancer early in their marriage. Jeremy found himself having to lean into trust again this year when movie theatres across the country shut down because of Covid right when the highly anticipated film was about to take off. Jeremy and his wife, Adrienne, share what this year has been like for them as a result. They also share about a new EP worship album called "The Worship Project" that they just released together, with songs that have been helping thousands of people through this difficult year and is having tremendous impact. You won't want to miss this interview!

At 9:30am Ron Hutchcraft, of Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, speaker of "A Word With You", and leader of On Eagle's Wings which ministers to the urgent needs of our First Nations brothers and sisters, will be joining us on our Day Of Hope to give us general encouragement about the year we all have faced, and insightful strategies on how to process through hard seasons of difficulty, leaning into the faithfulness of Jesus. Ron is a dear friend of YNOP and always brings such an amazing word of exhortation. We will be asking him specifically to speak to the hearts of ministry leaders, pastors, leaders of businesses and organizations on how to face this time as a leader as well and the special challenges and opportunities there are for those in places of leadership. This will be a special conversation that you will want to listen to, and share!

Throughout our Day of Hope we’ll also be hearing from several ministry leaders from all over the United States who will offer words of encouragement and prayer. This will include:
Wayne Pederson (Far East Broadcasting Company),
Mike & Heather Zander (KEY Radio, Provo, Utah),
Jeff Laszloffy (Montana Family Foundation),
John Summerville (Trans World Radio),
Rob Lawler (Salvation Army of Salt Lake City),
Tim Whitehead (Galcom International),
and many more!

Then from 12:00 - 3:00 Monday afternoon, we will invite you to partner with us in providing 700 Go Tell radios to Radio Uhai, to be distributed in the Tabora Region to people who do not have a radio to hear the station. Each Go Tell radio is permanently tuned to Radio Uhai 94.1 FM, and has a built-in solar panel to keep it charged up! Each Go Tell radio costs $20, but Galcom International has agreed to underwrite half the cost of this project, so YNOP listeners can cover the remaining cost of a Go Tell radio for just $10 each!

Give now to fund and send out these Go Tell Radios!
